Elevating Our Presence in the Smart Tech Arena 

In the dynamic realm of smart technology, Motionblinds has undergone a transformative journey, evolving from a startup to a distinguished smart tech brand. The driving force behind this evolution was a strategic rebrand aimed at repositioning Motionblinds alongside leading technology giants and smart home brands, reshaping the narrative of smart interior shading. Our aim was clear – to establish Motionblinds as the go-to brand for the smartest motors for blinds and shades in smart homes and buildings worldwide.  

The Seeds of Change Planted Six Months Ago 

This metamorphosis began half a year ago when Motionblinds set out on a comprehensive rebranding journey. Focused on core principles, identity, and cultivating a global, tech-friendly image, this endeavor encompassed the creation of a new logo, website, copy, videos, photos, brand guide, and a complete stylistic overhaul. The first tangible outcome of this process was the launch of our new user-friendly website designed by our in-house marketing team. 

New Look, New Identity Launched at R+T 

At R+T 2024 in Stuttgart, Motionblinds revealed its rebranded identity, marking a significant milestone. The Motionblinds booth, beyond displaying products, presented a rejuvenated brand image, highlighting the latest smart motors equipped with Eve technology and Matter-over-Thread. The holobox, immersive experience, and smart home device room played pivotal roles in the success of Motionblinds' rebrand launch at R+T. The overall design and messaging underwent a comprehensive transformation, resonating positively with both customers and partners. 

Motionblinds: A Journey of Innovation 

As a proud member of the Coulisse family, Motionblinds has been a pioneer in smart motor development. The in-house engineering journey began in 2016, leading to the launch of our first-generation motors in 2018. In 2021, we introduced Bluetooth capabilities, marking the advent of our second-generation motors, and initiated a collaboration with Eve Systems. The year 2022 witnessed the unveiling of our third-generation smart motors, equipped with built-in Eve technology. Recognized at prestigious events, showcased by Google at CES in January 2023 and by Samsung at IFA in September 2023, Motionblinds is now proud to present its complete motor range featuring Matter-over-Thread technology in 2024.
